I’m a UX engineer and product designer who turns research into product direction, clear requirements, and working interfaces. My recent work focuses on AI experiences people can understand, check, and use with confidence.

LearningPulse

At gotLearning, I led product direction, tested prototypes with teachers, and built LearningPulse in Vue and TypeScript. Pilot feedback shaped a clear class overview and evidence teachers could check against student work.

Research Activity Explorer

In about four hours, I reviewed arXiv data, scoped an explorer, and deployed it in React and TypeScript. I prioritized clear counts, useful filters, and access to source records so people could understand what the results represented.

RESEARCH & DESIGN

CoPilot for SOX

For a Microsoft-sponsored prototype, I translated research with finance professionals into priorities and requirements for Formula Explanation, Trace Document, and Workbook Summary. After reviewing the prototype, participants estimated a potential ~30% reduction in documentation time.

I have a background in psychology and data science, and I like working through both how a product should work and how to build it. At gotLearning, I work across product direction, research, design, and development in Vue and TypeScript. Before that, I spent three years at NYU’s IHDSC working with research data and building pipelines in REDCap and R for studies funded by the NIH.
